The Essentials, Part 2-01: Cumulative Trauma Disorders


This interactive course is designed to provide the novice hand therapist to the more experienced hand therapist knowledge about the anatomical structures affected by, the pathological processes involved, and management of cumulative trauma disorders.

Teaching methods for this course include course content delivered in text format, animation, graphics, and live web links.  To pass the course learners must successfully complete the final exam at the end of the course with a minimum passing score of 80%.

Upon completion of this course, the Learner will be able to:

  • Identify anatomy structures affected by cumulative trauma disorders.

  • Describe the pathological processes involved in cumulative trauma disorders.

  • Select effective intervention methods for prevention and management of cumulative trauma disorders.
