The Essentials, Part 1-06: Evaluation and Treatment of the Shoulder


This interactive course provides therapists with an understanding of pathological conditions of the shoulder and evaluation and treatment of these problems.

Teaching methods for this course include course content delivered in text format, animation, graphics, and live web links.  To pass the course learners must successfully complete the final exam at the end of the course with a minimum passing score of 80%.

Upon completion of this course, the Learner will be able to:

  • Identify anatomical structures of the shoulder.
  • Describe clinical signs and symptoms of rotator cuff disorders, impingement, and dislocation of the shoulder. 
  • Explain intervention for disorders of the shoulder, impingement and dislocations.
