    Course Description:
    Cognition affects every aspect of daily living. Because so many older patients have cognitive impairment, proficiency in cognitive assessment is critically important to effective diagnosis, treatment, education, and support. Clinical success and treatment outcome depend upon a clear assessment of cognitive functioning.

    The BCAT Test System gives you the tools necessary to rapidly assess memory, executive functions, and other aspects of cognition in order to improve treatment and improve function. The primary goal of this program is to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to be proficient in administering, scoring, and interpreting the BCAT Test System.

    Those who complete this course become Certified BCAT Test System Administrators.

    Objectives:
    Upon completion of this interactive online course, the Learners will be able to:

    • Administer, score, and interpret all BCAT System Tests
    • Apply tests results to optimize care
    • Define the basic cognitive domains of memory, executive functions, and attentional capacity.

    Course Description:
    Proficiency in the cognitive assessment of persons who have a subjective or objective memory or cognitive complaint is critically important to effective diagnosis, treatment, education, and support. This is the case in rehabilitation, mental health, primary care, and other areas of healthcare. The primary goal of this program is to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to be proficient in the assessment and treatment of Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI).

    Objectives:
    Upon completion of this interactive online course,
    the Participanst will learn about:

    • The MCI subtypes
